Advice from a High Schooler, to a High Schooler
Dear readers,
The beginning of the year is stressful for us all, so here are some tips to remember!
–Talk to your teachers, they will almost always help you. Sometimes you can even get your grade up or get extra credit.
–Use your free periods to your advantage so you have less homework.
–Don’t be afraid to talk to new people, building friendships is important. Sometimes reaching out to someone new creates a great friendship.
–Get involved! Both sports and clubs are a great way to feel connected to others and the school. If you’re not sure how to do this, try checking for club sign-ups and listening to the announcements for info.
–Prioritize your mental health and don’t feel bad if you need a break. Taking time after school to relax or hanging out with friends are great ways to feel less stressed.
