When considering joining school clubs, it can seem exciting to join as many clubs as possible. There are so many interesting choices, and it can be easy to become overwhelmed. From personal experience, I can tell you that joining many clubs at once probably won’t work out in your favor. I would recommend joining no more than five clubs because any more than that can be overwhelming. It may seem tempting, but with too many clubs, meetings may overlap, or you might forget about club requirements. With being in about five clubs, you can explore different interests while also being able to be successful in your clubs. Also, if you stick to a smaller number of clubs, you’ll be able to get into leadership positions and become involved. Furthermore, it’s a good idea to put all your club meeting dates in a calendar and ask club leaders about point opportunities. Overall, it’s better to stick to a manageable number of clubs and be successful than overextend yourself.
